Search your library catalogue
Find a book
To find out whether an East of England library has a copy of a book you're looking for, you can search the library catalogue.
Most of the East of England libraries use the ELMS catalogue. You can search this catalogue at http://www.elms.nhs.uk. If you want to know what's available near you, choose your nearest library from the drop-down list under the search box on this site.
Other East of England healthcare library catalogues include:
Cambridge University Medical Library
East Anglia's Children's Hospices Library
You may also want to look at a local university library catalogue:
University of East Anglia
University of Cambridge
University of Suffolk
Anglia Ruskin University
University of Essex
University of Hertfordshire
University of Bedfordshire
Colchester Institute
If your library doesn't have a copy of a book you want
Ask your local library to borrow a copy from another library. This is called an inter-library loan. You may be able to place a request directly from the library catalogue if you log in with your user account.
Use your library account
With an account at any library you can also manage your library account online, renew loans and reserve items. Ask your local library for your user account details.
