Nursing Revalidation - Library Book of Revalidation

The Library has produced a helpful booklet on Nursing Revalidation aimed at all staff who are facing revalidation. The booklet contains information on training courses run by the Library to help with Revalidation, where to find books and journal articles on revalidation, a list of the Trust's revalidation champions and other useful information. You can find the guide here.

Nursing Revalidation - CPD Launchpad

CPD Launchpad is the brand new resource that helps nurses and midwives to achieve their CPD requirements and prepare for revalidation. Drawing on an extensive archive of peer-reviewed professional articles from MA Healthcare’s specialist nursing and midwifery journals, CPD Launchpad offers an ever-growing range of content that tests your knowledge and helps you reflect on your practice. Learn more about CPD Launchpad here and find information on how to access CPD Launchpad here.

New Online Journal Collections

Following the loss of a substantial amount of regional tariff funding and the loss of some important core journals from the East of England collection, we are in the process of trying to replace some of those resources from available funding streams. We are pleased to announce that all WSH staff, including our colleagues in the community, now have access to two major collections – the Wiley Medical and Nursing Collection comprising 417 e-journals across a wide range of specialties, and the Mark Allen Healthcare Collection aimed primarily at nursing, healthcare assistants and allied health professionals.

Recommended Reads

We all know the joy of reading a good book, and we are not just about academic books. With staff health and wellbeing in mind, we have put together our personal recommendations for a good fiction read, see below. Don't like our recommendations? Send yours to wsh-tr.library@nhs.net and we will add them to the list. If we get enough, we will divide the list into genres and update it regularly.

Where can you get these books? At your local library https://www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/ call in or go online.
